Hi! I'm Mal! I'm currently studying media arts at SIU with a specialization in sound. I create audiovisual generative artwork using programs such as ppooll and touchdesigner which often incorporate layers of noise both visually and sonically remixed with recorded audio and video souvenirs from personal moments in my life. In my physical media, I work relative to pattern and repetition through textiles and canvas alongside other mediums to discover the unity which ties my work together. I believe soon this will be a combination of sound and textile which I hope to explore in my upcoming years.
